Los Warriors son el mejor equipo de la NBA y lo demostraron una vez ante unos Rockets que volvieron a tener las bajas de Dwight Howard y Terrence Jones. A pesar de ello, la franquicia de Texas está rindiendo a gran nivel y se mantiene en la pelea por las primeras posiciones del Oeste. Todo esto en gran medida gracias a las fantásticas actuaciones de James Harden: 34 puntos, 4 asistencias y 8 rebotes esta noche. Insuficientes para ganar, pero el ex de los Thunder sigue dando razones para estar en la lucha por el MVP.
Al otro lado de la pista, Stephen Curry y Klay Thompson volvieron a liderar el ataque de los Warriors, que no pudieron contar con David Lee y Andrew Bogut. Así pues, con los dos hombres interiores de cada equipo ausentes, el partido nos dejó un duelo entre Donatas Motiejunas y Tarik Black (Rockets) y Draymond Green y Festus Ezeli (Warriors). Houston aguantó poco, eso sí, y acabó jugando un 'small-ball' con el ala-pívot lituano como hombre grande, algo a lo que ya se han acostumbrado con Howard fuera del equipo.
